Te Whānau ā Tahatai (The Family of Tahatai) is essentially a warm, inviting space in which students can come every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 7:30-8:15am to eat breakfast, spend time with their friends, and relax before their school day begins. It is located in the hall kitchen.
We are very lucky to have the financial support of FreshChoice Pāpāmoa and Future Focus Early Learning to help keep our club running. We are also very grateful to the Kickstart Breakfast programme of which Sanitarium and Fonterra are the major sponsors.
Our Year 5 and 6 students have the opportunity to help out with Te Whānau ā Tahatai and become Student Leaders in this area.
